Senior Email Strategist
The role
As a Senior Email Strategist, you will be responsible for creating and executing data-driven email strategies that maximise client success. Your role will go beyond email, incorporating Salesfire’s broader solutions such as data capture, Recommendations, and AI-powered Search into a cohesive strategy that drives results across all channels. You’ll also play a key role in training internal teams on best practices, ensuring that our Client Success team is well-equipped to recognise opportunities and optimise client portfolios.
The part you’ll play
- Email strategy leadership: Develop and lead comprehensive email marketing strategies that drive engagement and sales for Salesfire’s clients. Ensure email campaigns are tailored, data-driven, and support customer retention.
- Product integration: Incorporate Salesfire’s full suite of tools—such as Recommendations, data capture, and AI-powered Search—into email marketing strategies, ensuring a seamless and integrated approach across channels.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product and Client Success to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
- Performance analysis: Track and optimise email campaign performance, applying insights from testing and user engagement metrics to improve outcomes and opportunities for growth across email and other Salesfire features.
- Training and development: Equip the Client Success teams alongside our Head of Training with best practices and insights into optimising their clients’ email marketing strategies.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date on email marketing trends, tools, and best practices, while also championing innovation and optimisation across all Salesfire features.
- Mentorship: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering growth and expertise within the team.
The skills you’ll need
- Proven experience in email marketing strategy, ideally within eCommerce or SaaS.
- Strong understanding of email platforms, customer data segmentation, and marketing automation.
- Familiarity with tools like data capture, SMS, recommendations, and AI search to build integrated strategies would be desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both for client-facing roles and internal team training.
- Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights to optimise email marketing strategies.
