Product Designer
The role
As a Product Designer, you will craft exceptional user experiences that deliver commercial results while enabling customers to achieve their goals. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and designers, you’ll drive the design process from concept to delivery and beyond, ensuring consistency and clarity across the product ecosystem. Your work will include shaping design systems, advocating for user needs, and maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.

The part you’ll play
Design and prototype user experiences:
- Create user-centred designs by understanding business requirements, user feedback, and analytics data
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
- Use a systems approach to design
Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Participate in design reviews and feedback sessions to iterate on and improve designs.
Develop visual design and branding consistency:
- Design cohesive visual elements and maintain a consistent style across the product’s UI components.
- Work within and contribute to the design system, ensuring a unified experience across all products.
Produce high-quality UI components:
- Create and maintain high-quality, production-ready designs that align with the brand’s aesthetic and usability guidelines.
- Provide specifications and assets to developers, ensuring seamless handoff and execution.
The skills you’ll need
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of UX/UI best practices and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with front-end development basics (e.g., HTML, CSS) for better collaboration with developers.
- Animation and Motion Design for creating engaging micro-interactions.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a product or UX design role or similar
- Background in eCommerce is desirable but not essential
